Join all those guests who over the last 80 years have enjoyed a stay with the Feeney family in Tuar Beag, overlooking Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. Eamonn and Siobhan welcome you to their unique home built around the original fireplace and stonewalls of the 19th Century thatched cottage, the Feeney homestead for 5 generations. It has now been much extended and tastefully refurbished, using soft timbers and Connemara stone, to compliment the original core of the house to provide a comfortable home from home. The Tuar Beag breakfast with its wide choice including vegetarian and low calorie options, use of fresh, local, organic and home grown produce where possible, plus home baking, has something for everyone. Tuar Beag has received many recommendations including a four star rating from Failte Ireland, Irish Welcome Merit Awards, AA 4 Diamond, Thomas Cooke, Inside Ireland, Frommer's Readers, Rough Guide. Many guests have become repeat visitors and firm friends over the years - and we would like you to be one of them!
